The company was founded in 1982 and was engaged in the packaging of agricultural and industrial products. In 1999, it was converted into a Limited Commercial and Industrial Company, and expanded its activities in order to cover a wide range of packaging machinery and consumables, resulting in the inevitable increase in manpower, material resources and know-how. A branch based in Thessaloniki is operating since 2002, which decisively improved customer service in the region of Northern Greece.
A subsidiary company was founded in 2002, which started its journey in the industrial sector producing disposable cups from polystyrene and in 2005, the company built its own new factory where a sophisticated production plant of cup covers and polystyrene sheets was installed.
In late 2007, the company made a major leap in its history, relocating to its new, privately owned office space and warehouse 3000m2 in an industrial zone. With this investment, the company became a dominant force in the field of marketing materials and packaging machinery, largely increasing its customer service capabilities.
The need for provision of high quality services at all stages of the supply chain, the compression of internal costs and the increase of competitiveness in a highly-demanding industry led the company in the selection of Logika for the implementation of this project.
The basic necessity of the company focuses on reducing the high cost of the supply chain. Therefore, a specific methodology had to be followed, based on certified indicators of the supply chain which will result in the:
Logika proposed the gradual disengagement of the company from the management of the supply chain, always with respect to maintaining the smooth operation of the company. The implementation and monitoring of the circuit of Storage and Distribution was undertaken by the Logika team in company-owned facilities. A direct result was the reduction in logistics costs. Logika assumed the distribution of the company, as well as the management of distribution and of the warehouse.
The storage and distribution circuit is now processed in real-time and there is exact knowledge of the stock and full control of transactions and movements. Reception procedures, quality control sampling, deposition, collection and packaging procedures are now supported. Orders are prerouted and then routed automatically by the system.
